This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your child’s information in our Backstage Verify © security application, in compliance with applicable U.S. laws, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

When an adult attends an event with a child, we may collect the following information about the child:

Photograph
mobile number
This information is collected only with the verifiable consent of the child’s parent or legal guardian and is used exclusively for emergency purposes.

2. Purpose of Collection
We collect your child’s name, photograph and mobile number solely to:
Assist in locating or identifying your child in the event they become lost or missing during the event.
Support event security personnel or law enforcement in ensuring your child’s safety.

3. How We Use and Share Information
Use: Your child’s information will be used only in an emergency, such as to help reunite a lost or missing child with their parent or guardian.
Sharing: Your child’s information may be shared with event organizers, security personnel, or law enforcement only as necessary to locate or ensure the safety of your child during an emergency.
No Other Use: We will not use or share your child’s information for any other purpose, such as marketing, analytics, or non-emergency activities.

4. Data Storage and Security
Your child’s information is stored securely on encrypted servers in the United States.
We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect your child’s information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
Your child’s information will be deleted promptly after the event concludes, unless required by law to retain it longer (e.g., for legal compliance).

5. Parental Rights
As a parent or legal guardian, you have the following rights regarding your child’s information:
Access: Request to see the information we have collected about your child.
Deletion: Request that we delete your child’s information.
Revoke Consent: Withdraw your consent at any time, after which we will stop collecting or using your child’s information (though this may limit certain safety features).
